Happy Holidays

With the holidays right around the corner, there sure is a lot of commotion going on! Then again, when is there not a lot of commotion going on!? But why are the holidays so important?

This time of the year people tend to get extra busy cleaning, cooking, planning, shopping, and gift-wrapping in order to prepare for the holidays. We all struggle balancing work and fun, and try to remember the importance of the holiday and not to get too bogged down in the details.

Traditions like caroling, eating at /visiting a certain place, making gingerbread houses, baking holiday goodies, going for a horse-drawn wagon ride, kissing under the mistletoe, holiday decorating, putting up a Christmas tree, getting together with others to celebrate, and volunteering to help those less fortunate are some of the amazing things we all look forward to this time of year! Whats your favorite Holiday tradition?

Here at the dealership, one of our Motorcycle Department managers and his family have a Thanksgiving tradition of eating a big meal and spending the day together. In fact, they’ve kindly opened their doors to some of the employees who won’t be able to visit their families this year. Avalanche is our home away from home, and for some employees the only family they have withing hundreds to thousands of miles. We are fortunate to have the option to spend it together!

The Ladies of HOG from our Denver Chapter have teamed up and are getting ready to help out this holiday season too! They have “adopted a family” in need this season and will be supply the family with Thanksgiving dinner and some gifts under the tree for Christmas. They’re also helping out at Redeeming Love Fellowship Church on 41st and Kalamath in Denver. If you’d like to volunteer somewhere this holiday season there are many places like this one who’d appreciate any help offered.

Be good and safe this holiday season, and the rest of the year too! We hope you have a lot of fun and get a chance to do something you consider extra special!
